Reported Offense:
A Sexual Assault was reported to University Police on Monday November 27,2017 at approximately 4:30 PM. The reported assault occurred on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at approximately 6:30PM, on campus in the Woodland Building on the lower level in the lobby. The victim, a student, reported a male known to her sexually assaulted her by inappropriately touching her.
Location Description:
The incident reportedly occurred in the lower level lobby of the Woodland Building.
Perpetrators are responsible for criminal behavior. You can take specific actions to reduce your vulnerability:
  • Don’t feel obligated to do anything you don’t want to. “I don’t want to” is always a good enough reason.
  • Get verbal consent from your partner, and don't assume you know what the other person wants.
  • Trust your instincts. If you feel unsafe, get to a safe place and call for help.

It can be assumed that conditions continue to exist that may pose a threat to members and guests of the University community. It is the duty of the administration to warn of possible "dangerous conditions" on or near the campus, and at affiliate organizations off campus; an "affirmative duty" exists to warn persons associated with the University of possible peril at the hands of some third party or parties.
