Reported Offense:
A Sexual Assault was reported to University Police on January 17, 2017 at 11:45 p.m. The reported assault occurred on January 17, 2017 between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. in the South Residence Halls complex on campus. The South Residence Halls complex is located in the south eastern portion of campus, adjacent to McKean Road and Shortlidge Road. The victim, a student, reported a male known to her inappropriately touched her, attempting to force her to commit sexual acts.

It is the duty of the administration to warn of possible "dangerous conditions" on or near the campus, and at affiliate organizations off campus; an "affirmative duty" exists to warn persons associated with the University of possible peril at the hands of some third party or parties.
